We believe that at the heart of every village show, should be the traditional show tent. Inside you will find locally produced, created and curated arts, crafts, horticulture, baking and more.


This part of the event is a community effort to showcase all the talent our little village has to offer. There are adult, family and children’s categories. We hope you will be inspired to enter into this much loved friendly competition!

Parbold Village Show Committee

Parbold Village Show has been running in it’s current format for over 30 years. It’s a typical village show, celebrating everything the community has to offer. It is run on a not-for-profit basis by a small team of wonderful volunteers.


Each year, we aim to put on a show that is inclusive, fun, supports local businesses and provides a low cost family day out.

VOLUNTEERING

Parbold Village Show simply could not happen without the community input and volunteers that help put it on. We are ALWAYS grateful for ANY help you can offer.

Ways you can help:

Throughout the year

On the day of the event

  • Taking on an official role (chair, secretary or treasurer) - these are voted for at our AGM in September.
  • Being part of the committee and coming along to meetings


  • Stewarding (even a couple of hours helps!)
  • Lifting and shifting chairs and tables before and after the event
  • Putting up signage
  • Parking attendant
